The Shield of Athena’s 23rd annual art auction takes place beginning 2 p.m. Nov. 12, this year at Le Mille, 1000 de la Gauchetiere West, the organization has announced.

The Shield of Athena offers services and shelter to victims of family violence and engages in community outreach. The event is being held under the high patronage of Greek Consul-General Nicolas Sigalas.

“The money raised will support our shelter and services for victims of family violence,” as well as a second step housing resource, says the organization’s announcement.

During the event, artwork by more than 30 local and international artists will be auctioned off. A silent auction and networking cocktail starts at 2 p.m., and a live auction begins at 4 p.m.

Admission is $75. For more information call 514-274-8117 or visit www.shieldofathena.com.
