Aux Vivres is a vegan restaurant on The Plateau, a bright and inviting hangout with a patio, where they're turning out creative ethnic vegan dishes and desserts, plus they have an incredible juice bar. I recently checked it out with a friend for lunch, and from the moment we arrived, we were excited to explore the combination of flavours being offered in all of their creations. 

We had Chana Parantha - rolled Indian bread topped with chickpea curry and potatoes, sour cream and mint chutney. The taste was amazing - such an amazing blend of spices and textures, and it was so fresh. We also Pakoras - fried spicy bites made from chickpeas and served with mint chutney and tamarind, which was so flavourful! For dessert there was "gâteau fauxmage aux baies," vegan cheesecake with berries, and you'd never know it didn't have actual cheese in it! From the exotic ingredients to the beautiful presentation, not to mention the great and friendly service, our meal at Aux Vivres was superb.
