Impact looking to advance to Canadian finals tonight

Following a 2-1 win over Calgary’s Cavalry FC last Wednesday night at Saputo Stadium in the opener of the two-game semi-final set, Montreal looks to advance to the final of the 2019 Canadian Championship tonight in Calgary. The Impact will take on FC Cavalry at Spruce Meadows Stadium while Toronto FC welcomes the Ottawa Fury to BMO Field I the other semi-final match-up. Ignacio Piatti notched a pair to deliver the win sending the 12,665 fans home happy. Those two tallies made Piatti the all-time leading scorer for the Impact in the championships with five. A Montreal- Toronto final would pit the seven time Toronto FC championships against the three time Montreal Canadian Championships.
