Napoleon’s Cartoon – Bonjour-Hi… Again

Quebec’s National Assembly re-opened the “Bonjour-Hi” debate, urging shopkeepers to greet customer with a simple “Bonjour” and leave out the “Hi.” This, so people won’t get the ghastly impression that Montreal is a bilingual city. As was the case in 2017, the resolution was sponsored by the Parti Québécois and all parties voted in favour. Sillly little province.
