Spring Cleaning for a Cause

Everyone knows that spring is synonymous with spring cleaning. This spring, while cleaning out the closets, consider contributing unwanted clothing and accessories to a good cause.

Daana, a community sourced wellness activity group is hosting a spring-cleaning event for the west island community on Saturday April 27th, 2019. Men, women and children alike are all welcomed at the event.

All clothing, jewelry, accessories and shoes from the “what if” and “maybe one day” piles are perfect for this clothing and accessories exchange. Some items we no longer love, could bring joy and happiness to others. Please ensure items for donation are clean, untorn and fresh.

At the event, which is located at a private residence, there will be a station set up to cater to our inner and outer beauty. Devi Exodeus, an expert herbalist will be present and available for personal skin consultations throughout the duration of the event.

There will also be a great opportunity for guests to discover the benefits of ginger juice, with veteran ginger recipe creator, Karyne Bertrand. Don’t forget to sample some of the delicious recipes on site!

All proceeds collected benefit Bhakti Yoga, helping to elevate people’s everyday lives through meditation and yoga.

Entrance for the event is $15, and guests are encouraged to leave a contribution at the front desk if they have found anything that they’ll bring home.

The event will take place at 47, 5e avenue Nord, Roxboro on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 12 PM – 4 PM. For more information, visit the Facebook page Prepare for Spring.
