Capture the soul of Russian Ballet without leaving Centropolis with Carmen Suite — Petrushka, a special double-bill cinema event relayed from the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow to the Cineplex Laval in Centropolis.

Carmen is as sensual and free-spirited as ever with the music of Georges Bizet based on the classic story by Prospero Merimée, as she finds herself caught in a love triangle. The passionate one-act Carmen Suite ballet by Cuban choreographer Alberto Alonso will captivate audiences alongside Petrushka, a new creation for the Bolshoi by contemporary choreographer Edward Clug. The May 19 broadcast runs 140 minutes and features Bolshoi principal dancers, soloists and the corps de ballet.
