Earlier this month, Laval’s executive committee unanimously recommended that the city sell public property — lot 507,468 — to new home contractor Bel Habitat Inc. for $95,400.

The decision was made by Mayor Marc Demers, Raynald Adams and Sandra Desmeules at their Oct. 7 meeting.

The property in question is lot 507,468. It covers a 362.5 square metre triangle on Noel, south of Dautry in Ste. Dorothée.

The space sits within three larger rectangular lots 1 507 474, 1 507 257, and 1 507,267.

All three lots have houses and pools on them.
