Officers from four different police departments raided ten bars in Laval and on the north shore last Thursday and Saturday nights (April 20, 22).
“The goal of these operations, led by the Laval Police Force’s Operational Crime Phenomenon Team, was to unite the efforts of various departments to ensure better police visibility in targeted locations to prevent violence and protect citizens who visit the targeted institutions,” says a press release.
Three people were arrested Thursday night for obstruction, assault and breach of conditions. Additional arrests were made Saturday night.
Police officers from the Laval, St. Eustache, Thérèse-De Blainville and Lac des Deux-Montagnes departments were involved.
