Treat your pet to a vacay this spring

While loving our pets is something we do every day, National Pet Day on April 11 encourages pet owners to show a little extra affection to the animals that constantly brighten their lives. In celebration of National Pet Day, the Westin Ottawa & Westin Harbour Castle will be pleased to host your furry friend ahead of your next trip, so there's no need to leave your loyal companion behind.

Any pet owner knows, ensuring your pet feels safe and secure on the road can be a difficult task. To help your animals feel more at-home while on vacation, the Westin Ottawa & Westin Harbour Castle offers yearlong pet-friendly accommodation that includes complimentary plush Heavenly Dog Beds and dog dishes. The hotel’s concierge are also happy to show you walking paths along the Rideau Canal, dog-friendly parks throughout the city, or scenic running routes along Toronto’s harbourfront so that your furry friend can have plenty of play time and explore the outdoors in their new surroundings.

In partnership with Ottawa Dog Rescue, The Westin Ottawa is also providing a loving and temporary home in the lobby for abandoned, abused, or neglected dogs while they wait to find their forever home. Images of Bobby and Alistair, who spent time at the hotel in the past, are attached for reference.
