In partnership with the Jeanne-Sauvé Adult Education Centre, an establishment of the Marguerite Bourgeoys School Board, the Kirkland Library offers the following courses:

Catering to retired people and seniors, this training offers them an opportunity to become familiar with the electronic tablet (iPAD) and increase their autonomy with regards to new technologies, while socializing.  The courses are given in English on Thursdays and in French on Mondays.

Devices provided during class.

In English for Beginner level:  THURSDAYS from 9:30 am to 12 pm

January 9 to March 19

In English for Intermediate level:  THURSDAYS from 1 pm to 3:30 pm

January 9 to March 19

In French for Beginner level:  MONDAYS from 9:30 to noon

January 6 to March 16

In French for Intermediate level:  Mondays from  1 pm to 3:30 pm

IN PERSON REGISTRATION ongoing until December 18 from Monday et Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (break from noon to 1:00 pm).  SPACE IS LIMITED.  

IMPORTANT:  ORIGINAL supporting documents required in order to register (no photocopies) as requested by the Marguerite Bourgeoys School Board:

A valid medicare card

Proof of residence

Birth certificate (large format) including parents’ names

or Canadian citizenship certificate

Canadian citizenship card

or church certificate of baptism AND birth, issued before 1994

or valid permanent resident card

or IMM 1000 form

N.B.  No classes during the week of March 2 - 8
