Breakfast is a big deal in our household, especially on weekends, and we were delighted by our new find:  L'Oeufrier DDO. With a clean and friendly ambience as well as terrific staff, we immensely enjoyed our experience there. Let us tell you about it...

We tried quite a few things on their extensive menu. Because it was around 11am, some of us opted for more "breakfasty" foods and others chose brunch items. I had a toasted bagel and smoked salmon sandwich, which was piled high with fresh lettuce and tomato, and came with a side of freshly-cut, crispy French fries. It was delish! My husband had an omelette - a few eggs, stuffed with spinach, tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and asparagus. All of the veggies were fresh and cooked just perfectly - not too snappy, and not too soggy either. The portions were very generous, as was the constant flow of delicious coffee. They also have a wide selection of smoothies, made fresh on-the-spot.

There were so many other things on the menu that caught our eye (so I know we'll be going back) - patrons around us were happily indulging in their crepes and waffles (which came with mountains of fruit) as well as what looked like the quintessential eggs Benedict platter.

This is a wonderful establishment that will quickly become your go-to breakfast or brunch resto. Be sure to check it out!
