Perfect weather for the Canadian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettal and Ferrari have taken the pole for Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. The green flag flies at 2pm today.

The weather will be absolutely perfect, it has been all weekend. In a Montreal spring that has witnessed snowstorms, ice storms, flooding and tornadoes, not to mention all the rain, Sunday will be the best weather day of of the year.

Strong high pressure will dominate across southern Quebec, with low humidity, light winds, abundant sunshine and a high of 28C (83F). So pack the sunscreen and water and enjoy!

Monday will be partly sunny, a little more humid, with a high of 26C (79F). A cold front will produce clouds along with showers and isolated thunderstorms into Tuesday as well as cooler temperatures. The high Tuesday in Montreal will be 21C (17F). Overnight lows will be around 16C (61F).
