Melany of MList: Spring 2019 footwear fashions

Oh ladies - do I ever swoon when I see a gorgeous shoe or sandal! And the trends for this season are shaping up to be fun, flirty, funky, and fresh. From thick bottoms to streamlined details, here are some spring 2019 footwear fashions that were made for walkin'!

Platform heels. They come and they go, and now they're back. Classic platforms as well as wedges are coming in all shapes, sizes and materials, from wood to cork.

Feathery embellishments. These are not your artistic thicker feathers, but airy wispy ones used to softly accentuate a femine sandal or shoe.

Metallics. They're popping up everywhere, in all different shades, in matte and glossy finishes.

All wrapped up. Ankle and toe straps give this spring's sandals curvaceous style.

Bright sneaks. Monochromatic running shoes are a thing of the past. Go as bright as possible, or go home.

Dangles. Beads as well as tassles give a simple shoe a dose of fashionable panache.

Old-school threads. Pretty weaves and crochets lend a nostalgic nod to casual footwear.
