In celebration of their one-year anniversary, Hello Fresh recently announced a partnership with Alexandra Diaz. Here's what she had to say about the popular (and delicious!) meal-delivery service.
Tell us about the collaboration with HelloFresh and how it came about?
HelloFresh reached out to partner up to celebrate and announce their one-year anniversary milestone. From the start, we knew it would be a meaningful partnership, since we share the same interests, passions and values. This means helping families to cook and eat together, promoting high-quality and farm-fresh ingredients, and limiting food waste while using recyclable materials. HelloFresh really gives you back the time you need to relax and just breathe. I’ve been using HelloFresh for several weeks now, and it really does live up to its reputation. I can’t do it without it.
Spring is a great time to try some new recipes and fresh seasonal ingredients. Can you tell me a bit about what you're offering for spring?
"We’re really excited for our customers to try our new spring menu. Seasonal ingredients will be widely featured, like asparagus for example. The flavour profile will be brighter and more citrus-forward, with herbs such as tarragon. We will also be sharing some great BBQ tips and recipes. Look out for burgers, steaks and the like,” said Corby-Sue, Head of Menu Planning at HelloFresh.
How are you celebrating HelloFresh's one-year anniversary?
I talk to a lot of people who are just looking for a break from their busy lives. one-year is an exciting milestone, and HelloFresh is a great gift to give yourself. It’s a break from the planning, shopping and trips to the grocery store. It’s a way to buy time, the thing we need most, especially those with kids.
How does HelloFresh help to make eating healthy easier?
The diverse and dynamic selection of recipes always keeps things fresh, and on top of that, the fresh ingredients are a great way to eat a balanced diet. It’s an easy way to avoid processed foods. When we cook for ourselves, we control what ends up on our plate. It also allows us to make a more sustainable choice when it comes to food waste. Not once have I had to toss any uneaten food. It’s as much about our own well-being as it is the planet’s.
