Brian Bratton battles for every yard

Veteran Alouettes wide receiver Brian Bratton has found a home with the CFL and the Montreal Alouettes.
“This is where I'm supposed to be,” said the veteran wide receiver that recently came-off the injury list to join the Als in Toronto this past weekend.
“This is also where I want to be.”
Before coming to the Montreal Alouettes in 2007 Bratton signed his first professional contract and attended training camp with the Atlanta Falcons before joining the Baltimore Ravens' practice roster.
By 2006 Bratton started 10 games with the NFLE Cologne Centurions, adding up 280 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 23 receptions before signing with the AFL Nashville Kats. Despite starting with the Kats in 2007, he eventually found his way north to the CFL and Montreal Alouettes where he has been a member of the team since.
“Back home everyone knows who you are and follow you,” said Bratton about his hometown Augusta Georgia.
“Here in Montreal you can just be you and when I have time I like to walk down Ste. Catherine Street with all its great restaurants.”
Since Bratton's coming to the Als roster in the 2007, the now veteran player has been able to the rack-up the honors since day one with the team. In his first year alone, Bratton led the Alouettes in punt returns and was second in kickoff returns only missing two games with a knee injury. He has also been witness to the two consecutive Grey Cup victories of the 2009 and 2010.
In the off season, Bratton runs a football clinic for kids in the United States called Brian Bratton's Future Stars Football Clinic in conjunction with the YMCA.
The camp caters to kids between the ages of seven to 18-years-old to learn football from experienced and 'positive' players.
The camp is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of football and have hands on experience with coaches who have been successful in college and professional football.
